Children’s Ministry

Children Choir

We know your kids are important to you. They are important to us as well. That’s why we provide childcare free of charge for children ages 0-4 during our Sunday morning service. Three classes are available. . .

  • Infants (0-12 Months)

  • Toddlers (1-2 Years)

  • Kids (3-4 Years)

There are several things that you as a parent can do to make sure your child has a good experience each Sunday.

Infants and Toddlers

We ask you to please. . .

  • Dress your child comfortably for play and learning. If your child is potty training, please use pull-ups for church and send an extra outfit.
  • Label all of your child’s belongings diaper bags, bottles, cups, pacifiers, and other items. Please send a bottle or sippy-cup for children ages three and under.
  • Pack the diaper bag with diapers, wipes, beverage (unless nursing), ointment, and always include a note about special needs – i.e. allergies, rash, medication, medical conditions.
  • Give the caregiver information regarding teething problems, feeding instructions, allergies, medical conditions, special needs, etc. A child information form is available at the registration desk.
  • Follow our security procedures for both arrival and departure times. Please sign your child in at the registration desk and pick up an ID number. On departure, please turn in your ID card to the caregiver.

Questions You Might Have…

How old does my child have to be to start attending the nursery?
Our recommendation is that your child is at least six weeks old prior to bringing him/her to the nursery.

How will you contact me if my child needs me?
When you check your child into the nursery or toddler room, you will receive a number that is specifically designated to your child. If your child becomes sick or inconsolable we will display your number on the screen located at the front of the auditorium. The number is viewable from anywhere within the auditorium. If you see the number, please return to your child’s classroom.

Is there a private area for nursing mothers?
In the nursery there is the quiet-room available, as well as in the women’s restroom, chairs are available.

Who will be taking care of my child each week?
Our mothers who have children in the particular classroom (who are also church members and regular attendees) alternate to take care of the children. There are also helpers assigned to maintain a pleasant and safe experience.
