Music Ministry
Choir:
The Center of Life Choir is directed by Yelena Sushinskiy. Although the Choir is composed of both vocally trained and untrained church members, it has been used by the Lord to present the love of God all over the world. None of us would have met if it weren’t for Christ. Our members came from different parts of former Soviet Union. But all of us have one thing in common: we have all been lifted up and saved. So the Choir sings—not about a theological position—but about what has happened to them. It’s not a theory; it’s a reality.
Musicians:
Our church is blessed with a wide variety of musicians, some of them with professional background playing music instruments from contemporary flutes and violins to modern electric guitars and drums. Our church welcomes anyone who is passionate about using their various gifts and talents to articulate our worship to God in the areas of music, film, performing arts and creative design. Our desire is to see a community of creative thinkers and artists to build relationships, develop resources and break out of the box in order to better communicate the timeless message of Christ and His love to the world in which we live.
Worship:
One of the best things that our church members can experience is the connection with God through worship. True worship is God-centered worship. People tend to get caught up in where they should worship, what music they should sing in worship, and how the worship looks to other people. Focusing on these things completely misses the point. Jesus tells us that true worshipers will worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). This means we worship from the heart and the way God has designed.
Worship can include praying, reading God’s Word with an open heart, singing, playing an instrument, participating in communion, and serving others. It is not limited to one act, but is done properly when the heart and attitude of the person are in the right place. Worship is personal relationship with our Savior. The highest form of praise and worship is obedience to Him and His Word. Worship is to glorify and exalt God—to show our loyalty and admiration to our Father. It’s also important to know that worship is reserved only for God. Center of Life church is blessed with great worship leaders, signers and musicians.

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever;
With my mouth will I make know Your faithfulness
to all generations. (Psalms 89:1)
